In the exam room, the nurse measured and weighed her and the Doctor looked her over. Cora happily complied and babbled away throughout the exam. With a little coaxing, Cora gave the Doctor an 'ah' and the Doctor verified that Cora has geographic tongue. (We called about Cora's strange tongue patterns while we were in New York). It's as harmless as freckles, but it was nice to actually have someone look at her.
She seemed to be following the same growth curve at 28" tall and 18lbs. But according to the charts, it appeared she was now in the 5th percentile for head circumference.
Hummmm...
The Doctor had the nurse measure Cora again (they are not used to babies with shrinking heads in this office). The second measurements put her back on the 70% growth line.
All this means is that Cora is doing just fine.

A shrinking head, eh? I've heard of a shrinking violet, but never a shrinking head.
Texas got his first tooth today. It was very exciting!
