Cora dressed up as a little giraffe and enjoyed going to Book Babies to see all the other baby animals, including a skunk and a very small bunny.
Later in the day the whole family met up with friends to go the family costume party at McMenamin's Kennedy School. This unique hotel/bar/restaurant/movie house is a converted elementary school complete with a movie theater in the gymnasium and several bars and restaurants with amusing names for the different pubs, such as the Detention Room and Boiler Room. There were swarms of children and parents dressed up as pirates, vampires and a whole zoo's worth of animals.

Cora's good friend Sophia was dressed up as a bumble bee. We got some great photos outside as it was a bit overwhelming inside. Cora was very excited to wobble around with her friends and even started picking up leaves an offering them to anyone who would take them. We have discovered Cora's new hobby: gathering leaves.

Below are some fun shots we took earlier in the day as we were getting ready.

After the costume party, we headed over to Mom's studio where the shot below was taken. Cora was not the only one dressed up; Mom dressed as Jane Goodall and Dad donned a pith helmet and was on safari as Dr. Livingston, I presume...
