It is amazing to watch Cora be so affectionate with those around her. When she was about nine months old she would give us very wet kisses sometimes when asked. Now, she gives us many affectionate kisses (dry), hugs and pats to show her love and joy. It just melts my heart.
Bill's too.
Her bears, dolls and puppies also share the love. She spends at least ten minutes each day putting them down for naps or 'night-night', by wrapping them up in a small blanket Auntie Annie made. After cuddling them and kissing them in their blanket burrito, she pats them to sleep. She has been wrapping her bear, and putting him to sleep for a few months now, but the patting is pretty recent. We were even wondering where it came from.
We finally figured it out last week when I dropped Cora off at Friday daycare. That is how she and her friends are put down for naps in the Wobbler room!
