A few photos of Cora after brunch (which included raspberry juice, or as Cora says, "jus").

Cora and Dad took Mom to a wonderful brunch at Petite Provence. We also went to the new farmer's market up the street and spent the afternoon with friends in an attempt to go on a hike.
We packed up fresh bread and other edibles from the farmer's market and headed out towards Mt. Hood. We had Ziza and her parents, Dafna and Mel along with Sophia and her mom Sabina. When we got to the trail head of Mirror Lake (a leisurely 1.6 mile hike) we found that the trail was still buried under five feet of snow! We were a little disappointed, as there was no snow in the rest of the valley. We quickly changed plans and made our way to the popular Multnomah Falls.

We had a late lunch and headed for the falls! Cora was quite taken with the rushing water ("wa-wa") and all the people.

I guess this is where the snow melt goes! We had a wonderful day, and hope to hike Mirror Lake on another trip.
Happy Mother's Day!

And to think they actually THANK us for being mothers when you know you would do it for free. ;-)
