Birthday in Seattle

After a wonderful Thanksgiving in Seattle, family and friends came by for a little Birthday party for Cora (who will be one on December 11th). Mom made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and Dad made some delicious spiced apple cider.


Unfortunately Cora was a bit under the weather with a runny nose and itchy eyes. She was in good spirits most of the time and even broke into giggles while playing with Grant.



Everyone sang Happy Birthday and cake was served. Cora had filled up on peas at lunch and only had a handful of cake.

It was time to open presents and Cora was absolutely taken with the beautiful bags and bows and even ran off with a few presents in sheer delight over the wrapping. (I will post a video later) She got some wonderful books, clothes and toys (Thank you).

Mom, Dad and Cora enjoyed seeing everyone immensely and we cannot wait to see them again for Christmas.
