Studio Project: Roof and Walls > Siding

Long time no post, but things have been moving along. They got the framing done a week before the 4th of July and had the roof and skylights in by that weekend. We then waited for a structural inspection and Friday they started putting on the siding. I may add the image of the roofing truck (for Matthew and Sarah), so stay tuned.

Next week is electrical! Track lighting for the main space and the shop with a few selectively placed plugs above where we will put workbenches. There is also going to be a ceiling fan and some outdoor lights. We love how it's coming along.

OK, 100 points to the person who can guess what change we made to the building (besides the skylights) roof line. It was a small change but it improved the view from the main house :-)
