Snow!

It snowed yesterday. Most of Portland was shut down by the inch of snowfall. The city has almost no plows, gravel or salt for its many roads, bridges and hills. Most people take the day off. Bill worked from home.

So, today for a break, we bundled up and went to the park. The Bob stroller with the rain shield was perfect for this kind of cold, windy weather. The park was a playground for sledders and dogs, even though the wind had blown most of the snow away.


Cora took a few cautious steps in the white powder.



We think Cora likes snow better from inside the house.



It's supposed to stay below freezing the rest of the week and maybe a few more flakes might bluster by on Wednesday. Stay warm!
